As the Executive Director of The Graphene Council, Mr. Barkan works with industry verticals and platforms to identify and connect suppliers and end-users for successful commercial applications. 

For more than 30 years, Mr. Barkan has worked on a global basis in trade and professional societies including the science, technology, healthcare, security, IT and engineering sectors. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and specializes in developing international growth strategies for organizations.

Tom is a Director and Co-founder of Fullerex, an independent technology brokerage specialising in nanomaterials and nanotechnology.

He is a Senior Consultant for the Graphene Council and a member of the Institute of Physics (IOP). Tom also writes for a regular column in Nanotechnology Now and he is a co-author of the Bulk Graphene Market Pricing Report

 Tom earned a BSc degree in Physics & Philosophy at Kings College London.

Dexter Johnson has spent the last ten years as the primary nanotechnology editor for the flagship publication of the Institute for Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Spectrum. In this position he has written thousands of articles on the latest research in the field of nanotechnology and how it has impacted a range of industries.

Prior to his role at IEEE Spectrum, he was senior researcher at Cientifica, a consulting company focused on nanotechnology, where he researched and authored reports on nanotechnology in a range of vertical industries from energy storage and generation to printing and packaging. He has been the Senior Editor and Analyst for The Graphene Council since 2014.

Joe is a Director and Co-founder of Fullerex, an independent technology brokerage specialising in nanomaterials and nanotechnology.

Joe spent the previous decade as a stockbroker, managing client accounts for European Equities and FX at a NYSE listed firm. He read Mathematics at Imperial College London gaining a BSc degree and has closely followed the markets for disruptive technologies and advanced materials for a number of years..

Dr. Keel is a PhD chemist and business school educated consultant and project manager with considerable cross-sector technical and sustainability experience.

His experience in nanotechnology, combined with a deep technical and commercial understanding of the role new nanomaterials play across several key tech sectors, positions Dr. Keel as a valuable advisor concerning the emerging commercialization of graphene and closely related materials.

Jo Anne Shatkin, Ph.D. is Founder and President of Vireo Advisors, a team of experts focused on regulatory and safety strategies for nanoscale technology commercialization. She develops state of the art analyses for public and private organizations toward safe and sustainable new product development.

Dr. Shatkin is an environmental health scientist and recognized expert in environmental science and policy, human health risk assessment, emerging substances policy and nanotechnology, especially safety of carbon-based nanomaterials.

Dr. Dmitriy A. Dikin is a Research Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and the Manager of the College of Engineering Nano Instrumentation Center (CoE-NIC) and the Temple Materials Institute (TMI) at Temple University

Dr. Dikin has 30+ years of experience to work across different fields of physics, mechanics, material science, chemistry, and biology and has more than 90 peer-reviewed papers with over 30k citations. He is one of the pioneers in the field of graphene oxide nanomaterials and is primarily focused on the development of nanocarbon-based structures for novel electronic and composite materials and their applications.

Warwick has over 35 years experience as an investment and corporate analyst specialising in the mining and technology sectors. His multi skilled disciplines cover law, economics, accounting and geology. He holds a significant interest in the graphene sector as an investor and champion of graphene commercialization.

Mr. Grigor is the Executive Chairman of Far East Capital Limited ("FEC") which has been operating for more than 25 years, servicing the junior end of the resource market. It is a family owned, Sydney-based private investment bank specialising in the resources sector.

Peren Xiao is the Founder of Plane Solution and has been engaged with graphene since 2013. He has represented major graphene organizations such as the China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry(CGIA) and has worked on graphene related projects in China, North America, Italy, and Brazil.
